Innisfree // Olive Real Moisture Hand Cream Review

Innisfree // Olive Real Moisture Hand Cream

This is my first review on an Innisfree product so I'll introduce the brand a bit. Innisfree is a Korean cosmetic/skincare brand for men and women. Their product packaging can be a bit plain but the product within from my opinion is what makes it successful. I bought this at a store.

Price: $10.00 AUD for 50mL

Origin: Korea // Innisfree Global // Innisfree Korea

Claims: "...Enriched with the finest olives, applies smoothly as it melts into your hands like soft whipped cream and deeply absorbs into your skin...Long lasting...All day long moisture reserving"

Directions: "After washing...apply an appropriate amount evenly onto hands as you massage."

Ingredients:

Specs/Features: This hand cream comes in a quality looking tube similar to L'occitane's. The length of the cream is 12cm and product itself is lightweight and convenient on -the-go.

Initial thoughts: I was actually really surprised by the product because (1) I expected the cream to be liquid-y but it wasn't as such; I found this consistency pleasantly different and (2) I thought "How could olive-oil smell good?" but it turned out to smell almost like lavender with a twist.

Final thoughts: The packaging of this is one that I'd associate with a luxury brand. The screw cap is easy to use, and it feels like there is a good amount of shea butter; a fat extracted from a nut to moisturise. Squeezing out a small amount of cream onto your finger, and tipping it upside down, the cream stays in good form and when you massage it onto your hand, it melts into your skin flawlessy (for real). I feel like every bit of the product was designed really well and it just appeals to me as a product filled with goodness.

To summarise:

Pros:  Convenient
Doesn't leave a greasy/sticky feeling on your skin
✽ Leaves a temporary smooth, matte-look on your skin
✽ I think the smell will surprise people in a good way + not a perfume-like smell, rather natural
✽ Flat screw cap at the bottom so the tube can always stand upright
Cons:
✽ Slightly expensive depending on your budget
✽ Little of the packaging at the back is in English (but I guess the important parts are?)

Personal rating: I give it 5/5! (regardless of costs but the product + packaging itself)

Extra pictures:
12 cm tube

Flat screw cap

Gliding consistency of the cream but not liquid-y
